A sophisticated & refreshing long-weekend cocktail with Patron and Dujardin

Nothing brings in the long weekend like a sophisticated cocktail to cap off a long work week.

Patron Reposado is aged for at least two months in a combination of barrel types including French, Hungarian, and American Oak.  This fresh tequila, with the oakey flavours extracted from the barrel, has become a staple in most tequila connoisseur’s home.

We served up this variation of the “A List drink” using Patron Resposado with Dujardin V.S.O.P..  This brandy is made with selected French wines, many from the prestigious Charentes region of France.  An extensive maturation process imparts an attractive golden colour, rich taste and aromas of sweet honey, orange zest and clove spice.

Coupled together, it is sure to be a hit at your next long-weekend gathering.

The A List

1 ½ oz of Patron Reposado

½ oz of Dujardin V.S.O.P Brandy

4 oz. Fresh Orange Juice

1 dash of bitters

orange peel to garnish

Shake all ingredients with a lot of ice.  Pour into highball glass.  Garnish with orange peel.
